The Di-Hydro Team will join forces with sister project iAMPHydro and will be co-hosting its Final Conference during the upcoming 4th Brussels Hydropower Day. This collaborative event will showcase the work done and our experience during the research, demonstrating how digital innovations can improve our current hydropower capacity.
About the 4th Brussels Hydropower Day
The 4th Brussels Hydropower Day is a premier event gathering industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers. The 2026 edition’s core theme is “Energy security and digitalisation in Europe’s power system“. In fact, the event focuses on the crucial role hydropower plays in energy resilience and strategic autonomy, while exploring how digital tools can enhance flexibility and integration. The day will feature plenary debates, networking opportunities, and technical sessions dedicated to sustainable hydropower operations. Here, the Agenda of the 4th Brussels Hydropower Day is available.
Di-Hydro & iAMPHydro: A Joint Vision for Intelligent Hydropower
Specifically, our joint technical sessions will run in the afternoon, split into two engaging segments: “Digital Monitoring and Environmental Intelligence for Hydropower“ and “Digital Twins and Forecasting for Flexible Hydropower“. Together with the iAMPHydro team, we will present a holistic view of intelligent hydropower systems we developed, spanning from ecological and water quality sensors, to complex data-driven decision-making and forecasting tools.
Sneak Peek: Di-Hydro on Stage
We have assembled a lineup of Di-Hydro experts to share the breakthroughs achieved during our project’s lifecycle. Here is a glimpse of what to expect from the Di-Hydro team:
